Langtang Region Adventures
Discover the Valley of Glaciers - Alpine Meadows, Sacred Lakes, and Warm Tamang Hospitality
"Nepal's closest Himalayan treasure from Kathmandu"
The Hidden Valley of Glaciers
Just north of Kathmandu, the Langtang region offers some of Nepal's most accessible yet spectacular Himalayan trekking. Often called the "Valley of Glaciers," Langtang is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, rich Tamang culture, and diverse flora and fauna.
Despite being the third most popular trekking region in Nepal, Langtang sees fewer visitors than Everest or Annapurna, offering a more peaceful Himalayan experience with equally stunning scenery.
The region is home to Langtang National Park, Nepal's first Himalayan national park, protecting diverse ecosystems from subtropical forests to alpine meadows. The park is home to rare species like the red panda, Himalayan black bear, and over 250 bird species.
Langtang Valley was severely affected by the 2015 earthquake but has made a remarkable recovery. Trekking here directly supports local communities rebuilding their lives and preserving their cultural heritage.
